Mission Statement

The Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court is committed to providing quality customer service, ensuring the integrity and access to court records by supporting the Judicial process through efficient Records Management, Financial Administration and Jury Service.

The elected Clerk of Courts acts as the Chief Clerk and record keeper for the all departments in the judicial system, records system and financial system of Hendry County. The office is responsible for maintaining records for all criminal cases, posting bail, docketing all criminal records filed, assessing costs and fines for criminal cases and collecting monies. The office is also responsible for all civil records, including the filing of cases, attending court hearings, issuance of Summons, etc. All recordings are through the Clerk’s office which entails recording of deeds, etc. and collecting all funds. The Clerk’s office is responsible for issuance of passport applications, marriage certificates and the purchase of cemetery plots in all cemeteries in Hendry County.
